Digital Ignition/AiQwest Cloud infrastructure is 100% open source.  This means there is no vendor lock and using open standards.  Our customers can be assured that we only use best practices for deployment and security.

All deployments from different zones only utilize direct tier1 providers that have access to each of our data centers.  This ensures the “inter-connected” data between zones are not using the public internet but a direct backbone.  We also encrypt traffic traversing the zones as well.

At the moment, we have one zone (Zone1) while another zone (Zone2) is being built from the slab up.  This zone will utilize traditional air cooling as well as liquid cooling for server hardware that needs the extra cooling due to AI/ML processing GPU’s.  Be on the lookout for this Data Center!

All zones will allow customers to utilize their own hardware whether its air cooled or liquid cooled, we will support both.

  • 1RU – xRU for each server
  • Air/Liquid cooled
  • 1G/10G fiber/copper NIC connections to our switching fabric
  • Connections to our storage SAN’s
  • Connections back to your virtualized environment
  • 100% isolated network

Our Virtualized environment:

  • Open source IaaS
  • Each host has multiple NIC connections back to the switching fabric
  • All hosts support UEFI/TPM for Window servers
  • All hosts run Ubuntu LTS
  • Multiple management servers to prevent Single Point of Failure
  • All hosts support tagged vlans for isolated networks
  • Multiple compute nodes for our storage SAN.  All running PetaSAN that uses Ceph for backend storage.
  • No single point of Failure

Below are just some of the open source products we use:

This drawing illustrates a sample direct circuit from a customer to access their physical and/or virtual networks.

We use industry standard 42U 19 inch racks within our datacenters.  This drawing illustrates a standard server within this rack for customers who chooses to place their own physical hardware on our cloud.

AiQwest/Digital Ignition is 100% committed to provide you with excellent service, availability, and hands-on approach to help you manage your cloud.

All hardware is installed using best practices with redundant power supplies, NICs, Disk arrays.

All hosts are running Ubuntu LTS.  The hosts are always kept up-to-date for security.

Engineers are ready to help you deploy, manage, and monitor your cloud.  We utilize a ticketing system so there is a path to the appropriate engineer.
